Brittney Sykes, #20, guard for the Toronto Tempo. 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in 17 games this season, averaging 29.4 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
Brittney Sykes is one of the Tempo's primary scorers, averaging 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 29.4 minutes across 17 games. Her game is built on volume scoring, impact — the Tempo are +11.1 per 100 possessions better with her on the floor and creating her own shot (only 37% of her baskets are assisted). Where she falls short: three-point shooting (25.8% on 3.6 attempts a game). She carries a heavy load — 27.8% usage, and the efficiency paid the price. High points: a season-high 38 points at the Sparks on May 17, plus 7 games of 20 or more. Low points: a 4-of-18 shooting night vs. the Mystics on May 8 and a late dip to 17.2 points a game over her last 10. Bottom line: a core piece for the Tempo, with three-point shooting the clearest room to grow.
