Carla Leite is the Fire's leading scorer and first option, averaging 16.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 26.1 minutes across 39 games — 6th in the league in assists. Her game is built on playmaking (6.3 assists a game, top 6% of guards), efficiency (60.5% true shooting against a league average of 55.9%) and creating her own shot (only 27% of her baskets are assisted). There is no glaring statistical hole in her game. She carries a heavy load — 27.1% usage, and stays efficient doing it. High points: a season-high 32 points at the Mystics on Jun 28 and her most complete game, 27 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists vs. the Mystics on Aug 23, plus 7 double-doubles and 13 games of 20 or more. Low points: a 3-of-11 shooting night vs. the Sky on May 9. Bottom line: a core piece for the Fire.
