Kahleah Copper is the Mercury's leading scorer and first option, averaging 21.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 33 minutes across 40 games — 4th in the league in scoring. Her game is built on volume scoring and finishing at the rim (71.6% in the restricted area). Where she falls short: turnovers (2.4 a game against 1.9 assists). She carries a heavy load — 28.4% usage, and stays efficient doing it. High points: a season-high 41 points vs. the Sparks on Jun 13, plus 20 games of 20 or more. Low points: a 3-of-16 shooting night vs. the Sky on May 15. Bottom line: Copper is one of the league's best players, and the one thing between her and another level is turnovers.
