DeWanna Bonner for the Phoenix Mercury. 10.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 37 games this season, averaging 27.6 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
DeWanna Bonner is a starter for the Mercury, averaging 10.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 27.6 minutes across 37 games. She is more a steady contributor than a standout in any one area. Where she falls short: three-point shooting (26.2% on 4.5 attempts a game). High points: a season-high 25 points vs. the Liberty on Aug 1, plus 3 double-doubles and 3 games of 20 or more. She is trending up, too — 13.8 points a game over her last 10, up from 9.4 before that. Low points: a 2-of-9 shooting night at the Valkyries on May 10. Bottom line: a rotation option still looking for a signature skill, with three-point shooting the first thing to fix.
