Erica Wheeler, #17, guard for the Los Angeles Sparks. 9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 5 assists per game in 43 games this season, averaging 26.1 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
Erica Wheeler is a starter for the Sparks, averaging 9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 5 assists in 26.1 minutes across 43 games. Her game is built on playmaking (5 assists a game, top 14% of guards), impact — the Sparks are +12.9 per 100 possessions better with her on the floor and taking care of the ball (2.8 assists per turnover). Where she falls short: finishing at the rim (55.1% in the restricted area, below guards' 63.7%). High points: a season-high 21 points at the Mystics on May 29. Low points: a 0-of-7 shooting night at the Valkyries on Jun 15. Bottom line: a core piece for the Sparks, with finishing at the rim the clearest room to grow.
