Ariel Atkins, #7, guard for the Los Angeles Sparks. 8.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in 42 games this season, averaging 26.9 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
Ariel Atkins is a starter for the Sparks, averaging 8.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 26.9 minutes across 42 games — 5th in the league in steals. Her game is built on disruptive hands on defense (1.6 steals a game) and finishing at the rim (73.2% in the restricted area). Where she falls short: efficiency (49.7% true shooting, well under the league's 55.9%) and three-point shooting (28.2% on 4 attempts a game). High points: a season-high 17 points vs. the Sky on Jul 10. Low points: a 0-of-7 shooting night at the Mystics on Aug 15. Bottom line: a core piece for the Sparks, with efficiency the clearest room to grow.
