Veronica Burton, #22, guard for the Golden State Valkyries. 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in 44 games this season, averaging 28.6 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
Veronica Burton is one of the Valkyries' primary scorers, averaging 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 28.6 minutes across 44 games — 5th in the league in steals and 9th in assists. Her game is built on disruptive hands on defense (1.6 steals a game), playmaking (5.7 assists a game, top 10% of guards) and impact — the Valkyries are +14.1 per 100 possessions better with her on the floor. There is no glaring statistical hole in her game. High points: a season-high 25 points vs. the Fever on May 28, plus 4 games of 20 or more. Low points: a 1-of-8 shooting night vs. the Lynx on Jun 19. Bottom line: Burton is one of the league's best players, and there's little in the numbers to argue with.
