Leila Lacan, #47, guard for the Connecticut Sun. 11.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in 30 games this season, averaging 28 minutes. Updated October 8, 2026.
Leila Lacan is one of the Sun's primary scorers, averaging 11.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 28 minutes across 30 games — 5th in the league in steals. Her game is built on disruptive hands on defense (1.6 steals a game). Where she falls short: efficiency (50.7% true shooting, well under the league's 55.9%). High points: a season-high 26 points at the Mercury on Jul 17. Low points: a 2-of-9 shooting night at the Mercury on Jul 19 and a late dip to 9.1 points a game over her last 10. Bottom line: a useful role player who brings disruptive hands on defense but needs work on efficiency.
